( 2 ) what is roeve?
Our system applies adaptive intelligence to break a piece of content into its natural scenes, then looks at each scene from several angles at once. It sees what is on screen. It hears what is happening. It reads the contextual emotion of the moment whether it is warm or tense, quiet or loud, celebratory or heavy.
Every ad creative carries a profile of its own, entered by the people who know the brand. It names the product or service. It names the headline. It names the emotion the ad is meant to land and the context it belongs in, whether it should sit somewhere warm or tense, quiet or loud.
Every detection is scored through the VAD model, how positive the moment feels, the energy moving through it, and how much control the scene holds. The result is no longer a video file, but a sequence of moments- each one carrying a richer read of what’s happening on screen.
Matching an ad brief to the right moment is only the first part. Our Placement narrows the field to the ideal moment. Content type narrows it again. From there, the set is spread out so no two recommendations pull in the same direction. Whatever remains goes through a compliance check before the final list reaches the systems the platform already runs on.
Our system is built to Read. Adapt. Align.
( 3 ) why roeve?
I am a Broadcaster
Built into the workflow. Built for control.
Roeve sends its recommendations into the systems you already run, so FPC, BMS, SSAI, DAI and the API carry on working the way they do now. Each placement is weighed against the scene, the format and what is happening around it, then checked against your policy, territory, brand safety and rights rules. Anything it is unsure about goes to a person.
While it does that, it builds a scene-by-scene picture of your whole library: what is on screen, what is being said, how it sounds and how it feels. That is more to sell from content you already own.
Fill a festive tentpole at scene level. A wedding or a celebration carries its own signals: a crowd, music, warmth, an interior. Jewellery, clothing and sweets can sit against those moments instead of whichever break happens to come next.
Open up the back catalogue. An older title carries the same scene signals as a new one. Once the library has been read, the long tail sells on what is actually inside it rather than on how old it is or where it falls in the schedule.
I am an Advertiser
Buy the moment, not the break.
Tell us the setting and the mood you want to be in. Roeve finds the moments that fit, going by what your creative is actually about rather than a broad genre code attached to the programme around it.
Sometimes the right fit is a match, sometimes it is a contrast. Brand safety is judged on the scene itself, not on the show it sits inside. Repetition is handled the same way, so the same ad does not keep turning up against the same kind of moment.
Place a launch against a defined mood. Warm, indoors, evening, two people talking. The campaign runs wherever those conditions turn up, across every title that has them.
Stay clear of a tonal mismatch. A scene can turn to grief long before the genre of the programme would tell you. The placement moves, and you can see why.
( 4 ) Roeve’s team
A young tech company rooted in adaptability and emotion. We work with a deep understanding of context, function, and impact. From linear broadcast to streaming, every placement is deliberate, and cleared against the regulations that govern where and when it runs.

( 5 ) What drives roeve?
Context is the signal
Adaptiveresponsive
An advertisement earns its place by belonging to the moment it arrives in. Roeve reads that moment directly: what is happening in the scene, the tone it carries, and what is on screen. The content is the entire input, which is why the same match holds wherever it plays, for whoever is watching.
Adaptive intelligence
Adaptiveresponsive
Every language, genre and market carries its own emotional grammar, and a scene means what it means in the context it belongs to. Roeve fits the brand to the scene, and adapts as the rules change. One system serves both linear and addressable delivery, and channel, territory and rights rules enter as live inputs the moment they are set.
Evidence you can inspect
Adaptiveresponsive
Every recommendation arrives with the reasoning behind it, so a scheduler or an ad ops lead can see exactly why a moment was matched and act on that reading. We hold our own claims to the same standard.
The final call belongs to a person
Adaptiveresponsive
Roeve puts evidence in front of the people accountable for what goes to air. A scheduler builds the break, an ad ops lead runs the inventory, a compliance reviewer clears what runs. The system makes each of those judgements faster and better informed.
Now advertising knows when.
We’re working with broadcasters and advertisers who are done guessing where an ad belongs. Let’s talk about what that could look like for you.
